Don't do these as a beginner pole dancers ⛔️👇👇

Big NOs in the first 7-14 weeks (depends on how many times you attend in a week) in your pole journey 👇👇

⛔️ Wearing shorts: you shouldn't use your legs when you are an absolute beginner. Your goal is to build up upper body strength, your body definitely won't be ready to get on the pole in the first couple of weeks. (Not to mention the pain and bruises 🤣, you don't need that at the beginning 😅)

⛔️Climbs: Climbs need a good strength and technique, which you don't have as a beginner. It is our job to train your body to be able to execute a strong lift and technique. By the time you learn all the basics, your upped body will able to pull you up with the help of your legs.

⛔️ Spinning pole: although it is tempting to spin around like crazy😝, it makes you super lazy as a beginner and your basic Push and Pull technique won't improve at all. So your shoulder and arm strength won't be good enough to get on higher levels.

If you start on spinning pole, you won't be able to create momentum on the pole with your own strength and technique, which is a huge disadvantage later on in your pole journey, when you want to learn static rotations, power spins and inverted tricks.

Also when you spin, you won't be able focus on details and you won't have clean and graceful moves. 🤷‍♀️

⛔️ Inverts: if you are asked to invert within couple of weeks, you run away as fast as you can! 😅🤣

The injuries you can get from inverting without building your strength, are limitless. 😅 Some injuries would come out straightforward and some with months of wrong practice, and I can tell you from my own experience, it is not worth it, I struggled a lot with ongoing injuries, as I wasn't taught properly to invert. 🙈

It takes MONTHS and months of hard work to be able to do a very basic invert and from there years to perfect it. Please don't rush your inverts, make your body ready for it 💪😊

👉You don't need any strength and flexibility to start your journey, it is our job to make you strong and flexible 👌😁❤️
